Melissa has been designing graphics and products professionally for over fifteen years. From home décor textiles and children’s shoes to branding solutions and communications for small business, Melissa’s passion for her craft has allowed for many exciting opportunities. Her designs have been sold throughout North America and Europe and she has traveled to creative hot spots seeking new trends in the industry. She enjoys wearing the many hats a career in design and communications demands.
Melissa graduated from the Victoria College of Art before moving into the design field. She continued her studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, the University of Victoria, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, BCIT, and Douglas College Self Employment Program. She is currently teaching Graphic Communications part time at Camosun College, is a Masters of Education (M.Ed) candidate at Simon Fraser University, and is running the Millipede studio.
